Yoga for preservation and regeneration of Black life.
We offer classes open to all identities, as well as Black and BIPOC affinity space classes.

Our Methodology
Yoga That Supports
In response to the continuous state-sanctioned violence that Black people across the United States experience, Yoga for Black Lives was created in 2016 to support resistance to this kind of violence by giving people the opportunity to take part in a life-affirming and life-sustaining practice. All our classes are offered by donation, and 100% of our proceeds go directly to abolitionist non-profit organizations and collectives that center Black life.

Take Time To Reflect
Grieve & Honor Black Lives Lost To Police Violence
Our classes pay respects to lives that have been lost to white supremacist violence, allowing for space to mourn and reflect away from sensationalized news coverage. Visit our In Memoriam page for a collection of names of those lost, and celebrations of their lives.
